Configurable ERP Platform
Reusable engineering patterns and AI-assisted development adopted across the platform

Context
Everest Systems builds a highly configurable ERP platform where the same product has to bend to very different business rules per customer. Over two and a half years I worked across the full stack — from React/Redux frontends to Node.js services and AWS infrastructure.
What I did
- Developed full-stack capabilities using React, Redux, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL and AWS services.
- Built serverless and event-driven workflows with Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Cognito and RDS to support authentication, persistence and distributed business processes.
- Translated complex ERP rules into modular frontend components and backend services while preserving configurability, usability, performance and maintainability.
- Created reusable engineering patterns and standards for service design, code organisation, testing, reliability and long-term platform evolution.
- Introduced AI-assisted development tools for code scaffolding, test generation, refactoring, debugging, documentation and technical research — while keeping code review and automated validation as the quality gate.
- Led code reviews, mentored engineers, supported onboarding, investigated production issues and contributed to technical decisions across the platform.
Outcome
Shared patterns and standards for service design, testing and reliability, plus an AI-assisted workflow that sped up scaffolding, tests and documentation while code review and automated validation remained the bar every change had to clear.
